Course Overview: This 2-day course provides review of the "upstream" (exploration and production) and "midstream" (processing and transportation) portions of the industry. Both onshore and offshore operations are covered and the course includes our exclusive drilling video and world oil and gas overviews. This course is ideal for employees of independent production companies as well as industry suppliers and contractors who want to better understand and serve their customers. Even technical staff and industry veterans will be engaged by this course.
Learning Objectives: The course will deliver a thorough overview of the upstream and midstreamsegments of the oil and gas industry. At the end of the course, attendees should able to describe key industry functions, define industry terms, recognize the purpose of oil and gas activities, name industry participants, discuss industry geographic areas, and identify key supplies and services used in the industry.
Delivery Method: Live presentation. Small groups. Instructor with strong oil and gas experience.
Prerequisites: None. However, attendees must be able to focus over a wide range of topics.
Advance Preparation: None
Program Level: Overview, with coverage of several semi‐technical topics
Eligible for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credits?: Yes, 13 hours recommended
Duration: 2 Days. Day 1: 8:30‐4:00. Day 2: 8:30‐4:00. Lunches included.
