I am trying to build up my network so please feel free to visit my blog at either http://roughnecks-oilandgasjobs.blogspot.com/ or http://drillingnews.blogspot.com/ I hope to hear from you. You didn't give your trade but you could consider the following:
  1. Apply for jobs with the onshore based service providers that send personnel offshore to service their equipment.
  2. Apply for jobs with companies that work on the major shutdowns. Shutdowns require hundreds of extra personnel so can be a good way of getting a start. Try RBG, Bis Salamis, AMEC, PSN.
I assume that you have loaded you CV into www.oilsandgaspeople.com
