Hi Oil and Gas People

Welcome to the forums. I will add various different discussion forums as the site grows but for now let’s just introduce ourselves and get used to using the site.

Its worth pointing out that each group has its own discussion forum. So find a group of people that matches you and get chatting. If you don’t find a relevant group why not start one?

The site has huge potential and we have big plans for it as it grows. There aren’t many rules, we just ask that you keep the conversation clean and respect other members.

I look forward to networking with everyone.

I am happy to become a member of this Wonderful Community website for Oil & Gas Professionals, thanks to Kevin Forbes towards his contribution & for his idea and thanks to Fiona Everett who has introduced & invited me.

I am of the opinion that sharing knowledge or helping in need, does not lessen the store, often it gets more. Sharing plays a key role in relationships and bonding happens in small steps and is assisted through community membership. May be you can earn long lasting true friends through this. Please let me know if I could be of any help through my skill-set & expertise or through contacts and credentials.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.

Work plays a significant role in our lives. In our quest to be happy and productive, having a strong sense of job satisfaction is important. When you are dissatisfied with your job, this tends to have an influence on your overall outlook on life. While you may not be in the career of your dreams right now, it is still your responsibility to make sure that what you are doing is satisfying to you.

By knowing the key elements that go into job satisfaction, you can choose to take control and make the changes you need to feel really satisfied and motivated by what you do. Make one small change at work today that makes you feel good or different - build on that change and create a satisfying environment for yourself.

Happy Networking, Have a nice time,

Hello all...

I'm Gordon, from the UK, currently employed, (Won't say where!).
I was for many years a senior supervisor in a UK oil storage terminal, after
being made redundant, I was fortunate enough to have been offered employment
in the M.E.... For all you lads / lassies that are looking to get work abroad, all I can
say is, keep plugging away and trying, you will get there...I did!!!

Best regards...

Hi All,
Great idea for a website. I've been working offshore for 2 years now and I'm constantly looking for new opportunities on line. Does anyone know exactly when its going to go live to recruiters? as it would be nice to get in near the top of the list.

There are five licences issued at the moment. You can see the details at website for the Falkland Islands Government Department of Mineral Resources. They only appear to be in the very early stages of exploration.

Hey everyone,

I am Victor and I reside and work in Lagos Nigeria. Everyone here seems to talk only of upstream oil and gas operations. I have been in downstream operations and retail outlet sales for 10yrs and just resigned my previous appointment as Head, Business development in an oil and gas trading company.

I'm glad to be part of this forum. Chao!
