Very best of luck. I've been trying for about 6 months, over 90 applications made and NO success yet. Its very difficult for new blood to get a break. Even if you have got the tickets ( medical/survival). I've got over 17 years Marine Engineering expereince too........ Got to keep smilin' and plugging away....

likewise mate its a nightmare and i know loads of people out there. got to keep plugging away as u say and hope it picks up.

Hi Alex i go the same problem.I dan my tikets sea survival medical and electromechanical back ground but not luck yeat but am no give up.Good luck...i am try now for 3 months .

Hi Maros iv been out of work since Aug and iv got 7 years expieriance as a roughneck/roustabout and i cant find a thing.
Im thinking of changing my career approach and looking for a different line of work on shore.

Ok thanks,well i will try but is not easy.I thinj in this days is not what u know but who u know but it s shame.I apply for 100 jobs but not luck yet.Is plenty work in amerika but u need have visa or green card.Good luck to you...
