Hi oil and gas people
As you have probably noticed oilandgaspeople.com is a brand new
site and not live to recruiters yet. The site is still in Beta
mode, and we would welcome any feedback from new members.
When the site goes live to recruiters there will be lots of
unique features and we hope to be matching candidates to oil and gas
jobs before the end of Oct. So let us know how the sign up
process went for you? Is there anything we need to add or change?
How about this site what information would you like to see here?
I welcome everyone’s thoughts.
Kevin

Kevin.
I think the site is great. Very easy process to get signed on and
the right information seems to be on or at least heading that
way.
I would like to see details of job fairs for Offshore industry
posted on here if the details are forthcoming. Can't wait for the
jobs site to gety up and running, I'm struggling like f*** to get
into the industry and getting far to many knock backs. Its getting
beyond a joke I thought with my skill base and experience I'd have
had my arm bitten off....
Still as I said, the site it great. Thanks for the effort....

Hi Billy
Thanks for the feedback. the sign up process is slightly lengthy
but its been designed to allow recruiters to be matched to
candidates as accurately as possible. Should do away with
irrelevant job alerts and cold calls. What everyone needs to keep
in mind is that we are different from other job sites. Candidates
will need to confirm each match before their contact details are
sent. Recruiters will be matched automatically to candidates who
are available, so it's important you keep your profile up to date
and fill out as many fields as possible as each field can be
searched on
We are aiming to go live 14th Nov so watch this space. There is
going to be a lot of features and services we are keeping quiet
until the last minute, that will make the site even more useful to
candidates.

Hi Kevin,
it has the hallmarks of a great site. Check out ukwelder.com for
ideas on other revenue income. I think you also have great scope to
increase your database and be more visable, to join the site and
tell people who and what your about. Good luck with this venture,
Ged Todd.
