by ron_of_orange 10 months agoWelcome to our newest members: Bees Wing & Mani. My apologies for this delayed response. The obvious excuse (for me) is were still going through the birth pains and the subsequent "shake-down" cruise associated with the creation of a group. That doesn't mean were surviving either! We'll need more participants if we want to keep the ball rolling. So pass the word and call your buddies...there's a Party going on. You'll have to bring your own refreshments...lol. And the dancing girls will cost you extra as well. As for any females, us guys will try to mind our manners. I promise. Really!
As to our group: Maybe it's it's a good to time to share our situations with one another. Here goes: I'm not working and I'm not looking either! I'm past the point of looking quite frankly. The US economy is not yet in a recovery mode...far from it! Although I do detect some rumblings. Locally I can report some news coming from the Pasadena/Monrovia neck of the woods. I seen and talked with a newly hired friend who has responded to a placement found on "Linkedin" A need for 80 some electrical engineers/designer types...with a duration approaching a year. You may have seen this posting. That was about a month ago...mid February, there abouts. I myself received an email from "THINK.com" for a possible position in Washington State for Electrical personnel. Nuclear experience desired here!...probably Hanford would be my guess. Bakerfield, CA isn't dead either...not my 1st choice. That's over a hundred miles one-way from my location. Any comments? Jump in! The water warm! or maybe it's cold...you decide. Cheers Ron
