Working along with QHSE manager in one of Schlumberger’s regional training centers with 130 staff members and averaging 400 students per day my duties and responsibilities were:
• Establishing, maintaining, implementing and improving the Learning Center QHSE Management System
• Defining QHSE objectives
• Liaising with clients, third party subcontractors and agencies regarding QHSE
• Assessing the local risks
• Coordinates and actively participates in the screening and training of all personnel, including subcontractors
• Continuous improvement for facilities compliance to companies policies and standards
• Documenting Hazard Analysis and Risk Controls for Mechanical Lifting, Driving, Security and Injury Prevention

• Performing Audits and training in compliance to segment standards for operations and maintenance

• Identifying potential trainers and coaching them on techniques and presenting skills
• Reducing basic equipment realted lost time and non productive time in the Area
• Creating documented remedial work plans to close compliance or sevice quality gaps in locations

I entered the company as a trainee wireline operator and progressed through training over a period of ten years to work as engineer in charge for a workover and pipe recovery sub segment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
